Privacy Policy

Asia-Rents ("we", "us") operates asia-rents.com and rents vehicles in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This page explains what personal information we handle, why, and what choices you have. We are the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We do not sell or rent it to anyone.

Information we collect

You can browse our fleet and check prices without giving us anything. We only ask for information when you actually do something that needs it.

When you make a booking

• Your first and last name
• Phone number and email address
• Country of residence
• Your rental dates, chosen vehicle and pick-up location

We need these to confirm the reservation, deliver the car, issue your tax invoice and contact you about the rental.

If you create an account

An account is optional — you can book as a guest. If you create one, we also store a password, kept only as a one-way encrypted hash. Nobody at Asia-Rents can read your password, and no other user can see your email address.

Identity documents

UAE law requires us to verify the identity and driving licence of anyone renting a vehicle. If you upload documents such as a passport, Emirates ID or driving licence to your account, they are stored outside the public area of our website and can only be opened by you or by authorised Asia-Rents staff. They are never linked publicly and never shared with other customers.

Payment

We do not collect or store card numbers on this website. Payment and any refundable security deposit are handled at the point of handover.

Who we share information with

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only where it is necessary:

• Our hosting and email providers, who store the site and deliver your booking confirmation.
• Google, through Google Analytics and Google Ads — see section 4.
• UAE authorities, where we are legally required to — for example traffic fines, Salik tolls or a police request.

Cookies

A cookie is a small piece of data a website stores in your browser. It cannot run programs or carry a virus. We use two kinds:

• Essential cookies keep you signed in and hold your booking together between pages. The site cannot work without them.
• Analytics and advertising cookies set by Google, described below.

Most browsers accept cookies by default, and you can set yours to warn you or refuse them. If you block cookies, you will not be able to stay signed in to an account.

Analytics and advertising

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, and Google Ads to measure which adverts lead to bookings. These services set their own cookies and receive information about your visit, including your approximate location, device and the pages you view. This is handled under Google's own privacy policy, which you can read at policies.google.com/privacy.

We do not send your name, phone number or email address to Google. You can opt out of Google Analytics entirely using Google's browser add-on.

Server logs

Like all websites, our server records IP addresses and basic request information. We use this to diagnose faults, watch for abuse and understand traffic patterns in aggregate. On its own it does not identify you.

Emails we send you

We email you about things connected to your rental: a booking confirmation with your tax invoice attached, and any follow-up about the vehicle. Business correspondence is kept for as long as UAE record-keeping rules require.

Security

The site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes, never as readable text. Uploaded identity documents sit outside the publicly reachable part of the server and are released only after a permission check. Repeated failed sign-in attempts are temporarily blocked.

No system is perfect, and we do not claim ours is. Please choose a password you use nowhere else.

Your choices

If you have an account, you can view and edit your details at any time from your account page, and see every booking you have made. Accounts cannot be deleted from the account page itself — email us and we will handle it.

You can also ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We may need to keep booking and invoice records where UAE tax law requires it, even after an account is closed.

Our pages sometimes link elsewhere. We are not responsible for how those sites handle your information, and this policy covers only asia-rents.com.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. If we ever want to use your information for something materially different from what is described here, we will email you first.
