Terms & Conditions

These terms form the agreement between you and Asia-Rents ("we", "us") when you reserve or rent a vehicle through asia-rents.com. By completing a booking you confirm that you have read and accepted them.

Who can rent

• You must be at least 21 years old, or 25 for luxury and sports vehicles.
• You must hold a valid driving licence, held for at least 1 year.
• UAE residents must present a UAE driving licence. Visitors must present their home licence together with an International Driving Permit, or a licence from a country the UAE accepts directly.
• You must present your passport, visa or Emirates ID at handover.
• Only the person named on the rental agreement may drive the vehicle, unless an additional driver has been registered with us in advance.

We may decline a rental at handover if these requirements are not met. Where that happens, our Cancellation & Refund Policy applies.

Bookings

Submitting the booking form creates a reservation request. It becomes a confirmed rental once we contact you and the vehicle is available for your dates. A specific vehicle model is reserved subject to availability; if it becomes unavailable we will offer an equivalent or better vehicle, or a full refund.

Your booking confirmation and tax invoice are emailed to the address you provide. Please check it is correct before submitting.

Prices and payment

All prices are in UAE Dirhams (AED). Longer rentals automatically receive our three-day, weekly or monthly rate — the discount is applied at checkout, you do not need to ask for it.

VAT at 5% is applied to the rental amount and shown as a separate line at checkout and on your tax invoice. In line with UAE Federal Tax Authority rules, VAT applies to the rental charge only — delivery, insurance, cover fees and the refundable deposit are not subject to it.

Rentals of 5 days or fewer carry an insurance charge of AED 20.00 per day, shown as a separate line at checkout and on your tax invoice. On rentals longer than 5 days, insurance is included in the rental rate and nothing further is added.

Payment is collected at handover. We do not store card details on this website.

You choose one of two options when you book:

Delivery and collection

Delivery and collection at any Dubai International Airport terminal is AED 50.00, charged once per rental. Delivery anywhere else in Dubai is AED 150.00, charged once per booking rather than per day.

Please be reachable on the phone number you gave us at the agreed time. If you are not available at the delivery point, waiting time may be charged.

Mileage and fuel

Rentals include 250 km per day. Additional kilometres are charged at AED 1.00 per km, calculated across the whole rental rather than day by day.

Vehicles are supplied and must be returned with the same fuel level. Refuelling by us is charged at cost plus a service fee.

What is not included

The following are billed separately from your rental total, whichever deposit option you chose:

• Salik road tolls, at AED 5.00 per crossing
• Traffic fines and any related black points, plus an administration fee of AED 50.00 per fine
• Parking charges and impound release fees
• Damage to the vehicle, and any insurance excess payable
• Excessive cleaning, including smoking inside the vehicle

Fines and tolls often reach us weeks after a rental ends. You remain responsible for those incurred during your rental period, and we will contact you when they arrive.

Using the vehicle

You agree not to:

• Drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• Allow anyone not named on the agreement to drive
• Use the vehicle for racing, off-road driving, driving on sand, or any motorsport
• Use it to carry passengers or goods for hire, or to tow anything
• Take the vehicle outside the UAE without our written permission and the correct insurance
• Sublet, sell or pledge the vehicle

Breaching these terms voids the insurance cover. You would then be responsible for the full cost of any damage, loss or third-party claim, and we may recover the vehicle immediately without a refund.

Accidents and damage

In any accident, however minor, you must report it to Dubai Police and obtain a police report, then notify us immediately. Insurance claims in the UAE cannot be processed without a police report, and without one you may become liable for the full repair cost.

Do not move the vehicle or agree a settlement with another party before the police attend, unless the police instruct you to.

Returns and extensions

Please return the vehicle at the agreed date, time and place. A grace period of 60 minutes applies; beyond that, a further rental day is charged.

To extend a rental, contact us before it ends. Extensions depend on availability and are charged at the applicable rate. Keeping a vehicle beyond the agreed period without our agreement may be reported to the police.

Cancellations

Cancellations, refunds and no-shows are covered in our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Liability

We maintain our vehicles to a high standard, but we are not liable for indirect losses such as missed flights, missed appointments or consequential costs arising from a breakdown, accident or delay. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the rental.

Personal belongings left in a vehicle are your responsibility.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai.

We may update these terms. The version published here on the date you book is the one that applies to your rental.
